The Town of Collingwood is responsible for the levying and collection of all property taxes. However, the Town only sets the tax rates for the Town's portion of the bill. The County of Simcoe establishes the tax rates and solid waste management charges for the County portion and the Province of Ontario establishes the Education tax rates.
