Company Information

Of the Collingwood industries interviewed, 71% identified Collingwood as being as the company headquarters. Additionally, 29% state they have other facilities located in other countries (foreign direct investment). Of the businesses responding, 39% are family owned and 61% are corporations.

Of the industries interviewed, 54% are well established and in operation for 11 to 25 years. More than 73% of the business owners are residents of Collingwood, and overall, 88% of the owners are involved in the day to day operation of their company.

Of the industries responding, 21% report an association with a union, representing 88% of the full-time employment base.
